Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of OneDomain's domain registration and management services. OneDomain is operated by Ecowebzim (Pvt) Ltd and acts as a ZISPA (Zimbabwe Internet Service Providers Association) member registrar for .co.zw domain registrations.

By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, ZISPA's Terms and Conditions, and all applicable POTRAZ (Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe) regulations.

By registering a domain name through OneDomain, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by:

Domain Registration Services

Registration Process

When you register a domain through OneDomain:

• You must provide accurate registrant information
• You must provide identification documents (national ID for individuals, certificate of incorporation for companies)
• You authorize OneDomain to submit registration details to ZISPA on your behalf
• You agree to provide a letter confirming your acceptance of ZISPA Terms and Conditions
• Domains are typically registered within 1-24 hours after payment confirmation

Required Documentation

In accordance with POTRAZ regulations and ZISPA policies, registrants must provide:

• For Individuals: Certified copy of national ID and letter confirming domain registration request
• For Companies: Letter on company letterhead signed by authorized person, specifying domain name and registrar
• Acceptance of ZISPA Terms and Conditions

OneDomain securely maintains these documents and makes them available to POTRAZ upon request.

Registrant Requirements

You must register domains under the actual owner's details, even if registration is being carried out by a consultant or agent. Registering domains under consultant/agent details violates POTRAZ regulations and may lead to disputes and domain cancellation.

ZISPA Registration Policies

The .CO.ZW registry operates under specific policies that all registrants must comply with:

Domain Name Restrictions

• Company Names: Known company/organization names will not be registered without authority from the body concerned
• Institutional Names: Names of schools, clubs, churches, etc. must be registered in the name of those organizations, not individuals
• Place Names: Zimbabwean place names are reserved for use by national or local government authorities
• Minimum Length: Domain names must be at least 3 characters long (POTRAZ requirement)
• Cyber-squatting: ZISPA strongly objects to cyber-squatting and will prevent attempts at registering domains for that purpose

Mandatory Requirements

All domain registrations must comply with the following:

• You must have a bona fide intention to use the domain name on a regular basis on the Internet
• The domain name must not interfere with or infringe any third party's trademark, service mark, tradename, company name, copyright, or intellectual property rights
• At least two operational nameservers must be configured before submission
• Nameservers must remain fully connected to the Internet and respond authoritatively to domain queries

Domain Modifications

To modify domain details (nameservers, contact information, etc.):

• Contact OneDomain through your client portal or via email
• Provide verification that the request genuinely comes from the registrant
• OneDomain will submit updated details to ZISPA on your behalf
• Changes typically process within 1-24 hours

Domain Transfers

Transfer to OneDomain (Transfer In)

To transfer a domain to OneDomain from another registrar:

• Initiate transfer request through OneDomain's transfer system
• Provide email confirmation from the registrant
• Obtain release authorization from the original registrar
• OneDomain will handle the transfer process with ZISPA
• Our team ensures smooth transition with zero downtime

Transfer to Another Registrar (Transfer Out)

To transfer a domain away from OneDomain:

• Contact the new registrar to initiate the transfer
• Request release authorization from OneDomain
• OneDomain will verify your identity and authorize the release
• The new registrar will coordinate with ZISPA to complete the transfer

Transfer to New Owner

To transfer domain ownership to another party:

• New owner must provide signed application letter and identification
• Original owner must provide written release confirmation
• OneDomain will verify both parties and submit updated details to ZISPA

Pricing and Payment

• All prices are listed in USD and displayed on our website
• There are no hidden fees or charges
• Renewal prices remain consistent with registration prices (no extortionate pricing)
• Payment is required before domain registration or renewal
• Payments are processed securely through certified payment gateways
• Refunds may be issued at OneDomain's discretion in cases where registration fails

Domain Renewals and Expiry

• Domains can be registered for 1-10 years
• OneDomain will send reminder emails at 30 days, 7 days, and on the day of expiry
• It is your responsibility to renew domains before expiry
• Expired domains may be deleted and become available for re-registration by others
• OneDomain is not liable for any loss resulting from domain expiry

Domain Name Disputes

In accordance with ZISPA policies:

• OneDomain will not act as an arbiter of domain disputes
• If presented with evidence of rights violation, we may provide your contact information to complainants
• All further dispute resolution is between the parties involved
• OneDomain has no further obligations once contact information is provided

Domain Deletion

To delete a domain:

• Submit a deletion request through the client portal or via email
• OneDomain will process the deletion with ZISPA
• Deleted domains cannot be recovered
• No refunds are provided for deleted domains

User Responsibilities

As a domain registrant, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Keeping contact information up-to-date
• Maintaining operational nameservers
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Ensuring domain use does not violate third-party rights
• Renewing domains before expiry
• Securing your account credentials

Limitation of Liability

Service Availability

While we strive to maintain continuous service availability:

• OneDomain does not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Maintenance may require temporary service interruptions
• We are not liable for service disruptions caused by third parties or circumstances beyond our control
• ZISPA processing times may vary and are outside our control

Termination

OneDomain reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
• Refuse or cancel domain registrations that violate ZISPA policies
• Cancel domains registered with fraudulent information
• Terminate service for non-payment

Changes to Terms

OneDomain may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

ZISPA Terms and Conditions may also be updated periodically. You remain bound by the current version of ZISPA Terms and Conditions.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Zimbabwean courts.
